Last updated: May 18, 2026
LiveShift helps users track work shifts, lunch breaks, earnings, scheduled shifts, and related work statistics. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.
Information You Enter in the App
LiveShift may store the information you choose to enter, including:
- hourly wage, currency, and extra pay settings;
- shift start and end times;
- lunch duration and lunch settings;
- scheduled shifts, shift templates, and shift history;
- calendar selection and calendar event identifiers used for app functionality.
This information is used to calculate earnings, show shift history, create scheduled shifts, and display Live Activities.
Calendar Access
If you allow calendar access, LiveShift uses your selected work calendar to detect or create work shifts. Scheduled shifts created in LiveShift may be added to the selected system calendar. Calendar data is used only for app functionality.
Live Activities and Server Updates
LiveShift may communicate with the LiveShift server to update Live Activities on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. The server may receive technical information needed to deliver these updates, such as:
- Live Activity identifiers and push tokens;
- current shift status, start time, worked duration, lunch state, and calculated earnings;
- currency code, hourly rate, and selected bonus settings needed for calculation;
- device model, operating system version, app version, and locale for debugging and compatibility.
This data is used only to provide Live Activity updates and troubleshoot app behavior.
Purchases and Subscriptions
LiveShift uses RevenueCat to manage Premium subscriptions and purchase status. RevenueCat may process purchase-related information such as subscription status, product identifiers, transaction identifiers, app user identifiers, country or region, and device/app information needed to validate and restore purchases.
LiveShift uses this information to unlock Premium features, restore purchases, prevent purchase errors, and understand subscription status. LiveShift does not sell your personal information.
You can learn more about RevenueCat’s privacy practices at RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
Notifications
LiveShift can schedule local notifications for shift and lunch reminders if you enable them. Notification settings are stored on your device. Live Activity server updates may also use Apple Push Notification service to update active Live Activities.
Feedback Email
If you send feedback from the app, the email may include technical diagnostics such as app version, build number, iOS version, device model, device identifier, and locale. This helps us understand and fix issues.
Data Storage
Most app data is stored locally on your device. Some technical Live Activity and subscription-related data may be processed by the LiveShift server, Apple, and RevenueCat as needed to provide app functionality.
Third-Party Services
LiveShift may use the following services:
- Apple services, including StoreKit, EventKit, local notifications, and Apple Push Notification service;
- RevenueCat for subscription management and purchase validation;
- LiveShift server infrastructure for Live Activity update delivery.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only when needed to provide app functionality, process purchases, comply with legal requirements, or protect the app and users.
Children’s Privacy
LiveShift is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your Choices
You can control app permissions in iOS Settings, including calendar and notification access. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings.
